As of April 2011 Krepel Cassettes is in possession of the FSC Certificate. Due to the increasing demand for the FSC quality mark and the importance of durable entrepreneurship, Krepel could no longer refrain from taking this step.

It is unimaginable that non-FSC certified wood enters this chain. This is due to the strict evaluation and control already performed, in order to show that the wood being used in FSC packaging is extracted from well managed forests. In order to obtain the certificate, it is deemed necessary that the entire chain, from forest till end-user, works with FSC certified wood. This way, all companies can prove that their organization works with well managed wood.

The fact that the demand for durable wood is increasing is a good thing. We are proud to be
part of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), to prevent illegal, and stimulate durable cutting
down of forests.

Per request, luxury packaging with the FSC certificate is available in limited kinds of wood.
